Kelvin is an experienced BAFTA nominated Director of Photography.
He has worked on numerous TV dramas, feature films, scripted comedy and
music productions, each with their own visually creative and technical
challenges. TV dramas include, “Postcode” (BAFTA nominated), Doctors,
Christmas Jumpers, the award winning documentary, “The Stephen Lawrence Story” (Director/Cameraman), the highly respected music series "Live from Abbey Road" and the Cannes Lion award winning commercials, “Choose A Different Ending” and “Who Killed Deon?”.
Kelvin came up the classic route, working his way through the camera
department grades of camera room assistant at Samuelson Film Services,
years as a Clapper Loader and then Focus Puller on what were exclusively
35mm and 16mm film productions .
Most recently Kelvin has been working on the BAFTA nominated and Broadcast Award winning CBeebies series "Apple Tree House" as well as the BAFTA nominated CBBC series “Hetty Feather” also including work as DoP on exclusive broadcast and online material.
With years of wide-ranging experience lighting and operating on drama, music productions, documentary shooting and multi camera live music performances. Kelvin has filmed in many countries with local and UK crews.
He is a member of BECTU and a full BAFTA member.
